Milan awaits its opportunity to do a deal with Kaká

Milan has not forgotten about Kaká, neither has the Brazilian player forgotten his former club. Although Real Madrid would prefer its player to return to Brazil, the truth is that his old club have not closed the door on him. To the point that Berlusconi has not ruled out asking Florentino Pérez to enter into negotiations for the player, with the knowledge that there are options for signing him.
The Inter Milan team owner needs to get the fans behind a star signing despite the Italian club's new policy for salary restraint, as shown by the transfer of its star player, Ibrahimovic, to PSG. There would be several ways to tackle the deal. From Milan paying €20 million to the player reducing his salary or Madrid not paying the remaining instalments of the €65 million he cost three years ago.
Kaká is also thinking about his future because he is not happy with his position from a sporting perspective. He is grateful to Florentino and Mourinho for the patience and support they have shown him but feels that he does not want to be a burden or obstacle to Mou's plans.
Berlusconi is beginning to see the possibility for a deal - one which he had not even considered just a month ago - for two reasons. Firstly, pressure from the fans who have always wanted their great idol to return. Secondly, the finances do not now seem to be an insurmountable obstacle. Kaká could reduce his salary and Milan has money in the coffers following the Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva transfers.
