Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has proclaimed that La Liga rivals Barcelonaare not unbeatable, despite their successes in recent Clasico match-ups.
In an interview with Band Sports on Friday, the 29-year-old stated that the Blaugrana's dominance in club football can be quelled, citing his team's victory in the Copa del Rey final last season as an example.
"Barcelona are not unbeatable. We won the Copa del Rey final against them and gave them a good test," he said.
However, despite his admission, Kaka went onto reveal that Barca are the strongest team he has ever pitted his wits against, singling out their cohesive nature and the form of Lionel Messi.
"I think they are, because they have gelled as a unit from playing together for a long time. Also Messi's confidence is currently through the roof," he added. The former AC Milan man also offered his take on the comparisons involving Messi and team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, and argued that the Portuguese forward has more in his locker than the diminutive No.10.
"Ronaldo is currently at a high level and you can say that he is a complete player," continued Kaka."Messi has his own characteristics, but Cristiano is complete - he can shoot with the left, the right, head and take set-pieces."
Real Madrid are at the summit of La Liga going into the winter break, three points clear of Barcelona.
